“Impacting generations and communities through the spirit of music and education”
— Chris Drumz
In 2013 Chris Drumz Belcher was led by the spirit to develop an annual School Tour ranging from Elementary to High School, and College Campuses, performing and speaking to youth. Chris Drumz dynamic subjects on entrepreneurship, branding, musical concepts, history, furthering higher education, and spiritual development has reached over 12,482 students of all races and creeds across the state of Georgia. The 2013-2014 budget cuts on Fulton County music and art programs in K-12 inspired Chris to create Chris Drumz Foundation (CDF) which aimed its purpose on restoring music education in schools and restoring communities for generations to come.
Through the (CDF), Chris Drumz Summer Music Camp was established in 2014 to provide youth and children 7-14 years of age an equal opportunity to be exposed to an Afrocentric Perspective based music education curriculum. Music therapy was implemented into the core curriculum for students who were diagnosed with ADD, ADHD, BD, CD, and Autism. By the completion of the 6-week program, students were able to read, write, and play complex rhythm patterns and instruments.
Chris Drumz Foundation is funded by Christopher Belcher and other donations made by the local community.
